And without the ultra liberal pro abortionists Kerry doesn't have a chance. It's all the same. You need your base to vote, I'm sorry but most republicans are not evangelicals. I thank them for voting, but without all of the "educated professionals who want to keep more of their money" the republicans wouldn't have won either. Just keep thinking what you want and get ready to be defeated in 2006 and 2008. "Ya'll really and truely do not get it".

The point is not that each and every Republican voter was a religious nut. The point was that without them, Republicans would not have won.

While MM is an idiot and makes the rest of us look stupid, he does have a point. There are a lot of positive things about this election, even if you are a liberal. Every cloud has a silver lining and all that. Some conservatives are predicting the death of the Democratic party and liberalism as a whole. I think they will be surprised :)

#17 is a VERY optimistic thought. He thinks the 55million were actually for Kerry. And examining what Kerry pushed in his actual presidential campaign, Kerry was much more conservative than he really is. But thats the only way he had a realistic chance as the Anti-Bush crowd aint enough.

Republicans can adapt just as they adapted and took over the South from the Democrats. Remember, the only thing that stays constant is change.

Actually, this highlights the key reason for me why I did not vote for Bush, despite my conservative leanings. Tax cuts and increased government spending cannot continue together forever, same as you can't borrow against your credit cards while making only the minimum payments forever. Our debt will catch up with us someday if we continue down this path, and it will be a dark day for America.

I thought Bush gained a lot of votes among minorities, particularly Hispanics.
This was due to:
Bush opposition to gay marraige.
Bush saying he would allow illegal immigrants to work in the US.

Rove is indeed a mastermind.

Cut off one of the main sources of democratic votes. (Immigrants in general, not illegal)

This was because of the moral values issue. Many hispanics are devout catholics. The Pope on many occasions has taken the time to speak out against gay marriage. And so the dominos tumble and the sheep go BAAAAHHHH BAAAAHHHH...

Plane and out right racist statement.

How so?

I think he took offense to the term "cracker-belt".

I am white so impuning any racist motives on me is silly.

Same here. 100% White. And I agree that the minority races should be left subservient to our WHITE political perspectives and implmentation of laws.

They voted in this election because they perceived that they have a real chance at changing America, if it doesn't happen now with a Republican House, Senate, and President it never will.

Unless they get even more hatefilled and angry and decide to change all their states' senators, congressmen, and state legistlators to republican. It could happen if Pander Bush keeps it up.

I'm feeling a lot of class resentment from you here ntdz... Let's not go with the class warfare by bashing Moore, who has made a lot of money by being creative and have a liberal spirit. Don't be jealous. Let's unite America like the president wants us to. This is a time for healing. I suggest you start by not being jealous of Moore

#18.) We have a group to demonize now. We've already started to marginalize the evangelicals, I've learned from the Scientologists; so if we can pick a group & demonize them, it helps us pull together. We can organize & start taking out our frustration on the retarded right.

Hell Yeah!!!!!

I'm glad the majority of my fellow Michiganians have the power of thought.

Bite me.

Go play tag with Fluffy.

Hasn't been a good week, huh Gaard?

Actually, other than the election result, this week has been very rewarding. And now that you're back, we can resume with the mentor jokes. Can it get any better than that?

Say all the mentor jokes you want. I did my little part in getting rid of Kerry. Now I can join the military before going to grad school. It seems like you and I had a hell of a week.
