17" Monitor...which one to get..need suggestions!!

Ok, my monitor is taking a big ol sh1t on me. So I would like to know which 17" monitors you guys like. Pref. under $300 and a trinitron tube of course. Thanks!

Well, I guess this $50 off applies to Samsung 700NF as well, $298-$50=$248, not bad considering its got much higher specs than the KDS.

NEC, Samsung and ViewSonic are all good montiors. I would go look at them and buy the one you think looks the best.

Yeah, I'm a fanatic of trinitrons too... I'm sitting in front of two of them... the NEC FE700 is almost a legend and it's about the cheapest trinitron too. But the Sonys are like £50 more, I would go with them if I had the money...

Get the IIyama Vision Master Pro 410. It's the 17 inch version of the 19" 450 that Anand and many other hardware sites really recommend, and I love mine. Flat screen, sharp image, vibrant colors. Gotta love it.

go for the viewsonic ef70. it's rated higher than the sony e200 from pcworld. those 2 monitors are the best for 17". you can get the viewsonic at onvia for 250, the cheapest place i found the sony for is at onvia for 323.
