17" LCD TV -- $295 @newegg

Seems good to me. Couple of good reviews on Amazon for it. Not very high brightness but everything else seems good.

Anyone else have thoughts on this one?

The deal at Dell a few days ago was much hotter, and I think the deal today is still pretty hot (if you can snag a coupon, that is).

A few days ago, it was a Dell W1700 17" Widescreen LCD TV + Dimension 2400N for under $350, or with a Dimension 3000 for under $400.

I think the best deal today is a loaded Dell Dimension 3000 + 17" LCD + 17" LCD TV for ~$800; details on FW. Still not a bad deal, considering the TV sells on Dell's site for $700, and eBays for $400+.

Yes, the prices are coming down.

For $350 the Dell deal seems good but didn't bother looking around to much since it was $700 normally. Didn't think half off was realistic so the $350 deal is a big surprise but I've only been looking for a couple days.

Remember it was $350 for the LCD TV with a computer (albiet a relatively basic one).

Oh, deal only hot then if you want a Dell which I don't 🙁

The NewEgg one seems good but I think I'll wait a week or two before order to see what kind of deals come around.

got a 15" SVA LCD.. Got it a while ago, does the job. One stuck green pixel right in the middle of the screen... Personally, I would go for the $250 17" Dell LCD monitor after seeing it at my friend's house. The deal is at Small Business, you can find the $90 coupon code on www.bensbargains.net .. after tax and shipping to southern Ca, it comes out to $282!
