17" LCD Recommendations

Hi,
I am looking for a 17" LCD to replace my Samsung 900NF due to space constraints. The display will be used for pretty much everything (word processing, gaming, surfing etc). I am leaning towards a samsung since I will be able to get their units for a discounted price compared to the competitions offerings. Also I am trying to keep the cost as low as possible so long as the display will still satisfy my requirements. Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks.

The Current 17" Samsung is nice...I think its a 12ms Response time with a 600:1 Contrast ratio

wow. ur luck to get discounts on samsung monitors. they make the best lcd monitors. samsung 172x gets the most praise.

I recently picked up a Samsung 712N LCD. It's quality is really good, even if it lacks a DVI connection which I really don't mind.

I got the Samsung 710T, and it's as good as everyone says it is.
