$17,000 for a bed mattress?

i was watching some show and said the harry potter kid bought a 17,000 bed mattress.

what the hell makes a mattress cost that much?

I've slept in a bed that cost that much, and its worth every penny.

Think about it, you spend 30K on a car but spend a third of your life in bed and look for discount mattresses.

For that money, I'd want to be able to get a full night's sleep in less than an hour, or it wouldn't be worth it.

Except that I'm generally unconscious for most of the time I'm using the bed, and I try to be quite conscious when in my car.
