...when i clicked on "Home" on the page I got a message saying "Royal Computers Is Now Miradex Corporation You Will Be Redirected In 3 Seconds Or You May Click Here" And when i looked up the same DVD player, i found the new site doesn't have "customer reviews". LOL. Guess they got tired of those people b&*^hing them out on their own site.

Absolute worst buying experience I have ever had, online or b&m!!!!!! Bought this dvd player (or at least ordered) along w/ a H+ card and paid for 2 day shipping (and their prices are outrageous).. About 1&1/2 weeks later I call to see what is up? They say dvd were on back order (thanks for the e-mail) and that they would go ahead and send H+ card.

Finally got H+(not dvd) and couldnt get drivers to work. Called customer support (or so they call it) and they directed me to tech support. EVERY SINGLE TIME I GOT TRANSFERED TO TECH SUPPORT, I GOT VOICE MAIL!! Never returned my calls. Finally I called and left a message every 10 minutes for 6 hours. Still till this day no response.

I wanted to rma this thing back, but by the time I tried every other avenue, their brief return policy had expired. They finally reimbursed my card for the dvd player. I'd rather spend $5 more from somebody that stands by what they sell. PROBABLY A REASON THEY CHANGED THEIR NAME!!??!!

Samething here!
I ordered the The Slot version and paid for second day shipping and three days later when I called they told me it was going to be shipped and 5 days.

Told him to cancel, now I'm waiting for my credit card statement to make sure they credited me..

DON'T BUY FROM THIS PLACE.......

Access Micro has the same drive for $70 + 8.95 shipping. I got 2 day shipping for $12. My Acer 10x drive has been freaking out, so I need a replacement quick. Access is fairly reputable.

How they set their shipping charges is bizarre. I paid less for this than you do for memory. And, they add shipping charges up - so it doesn't make sense to package an order together.

I bought the slot version from them...took them 2 weeks to get it to me. But I guess I was lucky in that the only time I called, the sales lady was very pleasant and helpful.
