I'd really, really recommend spending five bucks more to get the NEC 3500/3520, which is almost universally regarded as the top drive on the market.

Yes I would have to agree actually I am just not familiar with this drive so I would have to recomend the NEC as well since it's what I use and have had very good luck with it.

This appears to be a rebadged Benq 1620, which is an excellent drive. See here:

I think you can find the benq under the actaul benq name for about the same price....
