transcoding to divx @ .01cents/killowatt /hr: 1/10 cent

saving money on DL DVD-Rs using rossman.com: $100

transcoding all your clips and movies to h.264 and finding out that your pc is to slow to play it only AFTER you're done: priceless.:D

There are some things that can't be compressed effectively, and for everything else there is AVC:cool:

Ultra-efficiency

EDIT:

Original Filesize: 98.9MB:cool:

Wow that looks great. How long would it take to encode an hour's worth of dvd video?

On my 3.4c, I can convert DVD video at around 1x. For 1080i transport stream clips, it's a slow snails pace of 0.1-0.25x.

Specs in sig right? You need a 3GHz+ for smooth playback of WMVHD clips. You need even more for these h.264 clips. So I really don't think your 2.4c can handle it.
