Yeah, with the Cheap Antec Overture deal from last week and the $10 256MB Rosewill from months ago and $29 Asus Hardware Decoder Tuner from a year ago I'm half way to a pretty smoking PCTV. :)

The Seagate 200GB's are now "Call for Availability," but the 160GB's are still in stock. Man, I don't need one, but they're so cheap!

I gotta say, I don't understand why Seagate is discounting their drives so heavily when they're already the only game in town when it comes to a 5-year warranty. Maxtor seems to have given up on rebates and is just going for a lower OTD price, Western Digital still does rebates, but it seems to be two at a time on a single product rather than just one (and they're priced higher than everyone else), and Hitachi is just in their own world.

They're either trying to achieve a certain market share by a certain date, or they're in financial trouble. Either way, they will BE in financial trouble because there's no way you can keep selling product like this at 20-30 cents per gigabyte and turn a profit.

Add about $10 for 2-day shipping (only 2-3 dollars more than ground) and get it for ~$0.25 / GB or $50 bucks shipped. Ordered mine on Tuesday, DHL delivered it today (Thurs). HOT!

They are blowing out their old 7200.7 line to make room for the 7200.8s.
