.

my company used to offer training through CBTs by smartforce

they alright...i guess a little better than reading books. not sure if it's worth the price tag though.

I have skillsoft here at work. The air force had smart force. I think they are all a bit weak. They do help if you haven't used the devices before. I prefer the practice tests and simulators for CCNA.

I got some of their stuff for MCP and MCSE and they are very boring....(although the material is boring already) and sometimes outdated. I did better just using the regular textbooks and CBT nuggets.

if anyone cares - found interactive ccna training for $129 bux, seems fair compared to the others who want me to take out a loan. link - http://www.lantell.com/cisco_ccna.html

there website isnt that great and one of there intro to computers online demos is in arabic, not sure why, but the material looks to be the same as cbt, yes boring.. but a lot cheaper. some of these cert places are just way too expensive. i have already tried watching a learning cd/dvd, fell asleep in the middle of it. 🙂

someone should review these places like they review hardware.

yes exactly , audio would be usefull with automatic changing of the page. Instead you have to read like one paragraph and then click the next button. You probably have to hit the next button like 40 times for each lesson, very annoying.
