Any comments/suggestions would be appreciated.

thanks Rock Hydra

I'm mainly wondering about the layout, so clean is good. If anyone out there IS interested in the industry, or just search engines in general, feedback on the content would be great too. Tia.

I turned my sports site into a blog because sports happen too often to keep it recent with only one person working on everything.

I actually made it into a semi-photoblog with today's entry.

Thanks for the comments. Did the content interest any of you? Is there anything I could add to make it more interesting or is this topic more specific to only people already interested or involved in the industry?

Any suggestions for making the content more interesting to the average person? I am interested in the subject, so it is more difficult to notice what might seem bland to other people who may not share the same enthusiasm for the topic.

The looking like other blogs, I was trying to give it a professional and clean look to give it a more reputable image. There are a bunch of other sites/blogs I've seen, even ones that provide some good information that are very unorganized and unappealing to the eyes. So hopefully, looking like other blogs really means it looks like other blogs that you like. 🙂

well, cookie cutter layout. if thats what you want...thats what you want!
the use of space annoys me. its just a column in the center of a giant white space on my screen.

i would suggest a slightly less grainy logo pic for the top.
