PSA: Test drive a car before you buy it.

But since you already have it, you'd better make sure you do all the driving when you're together. I'm 6'5" and can relate to having to cram yourself into small cars.

I would settle for buckets.

What do you guys think I should do ? My fiancee would only be driving the truck once in a while. She can drive it alone with out my bigass in there. Im 6'3" shes 5'1"

Never mind the test drive - you didn't even SIT in it?

I drove it fine. If i go all the way back with the seat I cant hardy reach the pedal. Its actually very roomy in there for a reg cab. I guees I can get nice aftermarket seats for a fraction of the coast of Factory bucket seats.

Well, some vehicles you don't even need to test drive. My GF's dad just bought a 2005 Camry LE through email with the dealer and hasn't even driven it yet (they already have a 2000 Camry LE). They're picking it up next week.

I know my Civics inside and out, but I still test drove my new one to make sure that a) there weren't any sneaky surprises and b) nothing was going to shake, rattle, or roll off the body. :)

I wasn't trying to be an ass. Most manufacturers don't even sell a lot of regular cab trucks anymore b/c they just AREN'T popular or profitable to them either.

YES I sat in it man. She sat in it, we never thought to see if she would reach the pedals. she can reach the pedals BUT she cant depress the clutch pedal with the seat almost all the way up. LOL Its a nice truck . I would not give it up just beacuase of that. I guess I will need aftermarket seats.

Holy crap, man. You made the second largest purchase of your life (second only to a home) and didn't even fvcking test drive the truck? Goddamn you're a dumbass. I mean Christ... I have a house to sell you. I won't show it to you or tell you anything about it since you're obviously not interested in those silly details, but...

Jesus I thought I was stupid...

Fvck that gives even ME some hope in life.

No problem. I paid 19,400 for it. The Xcab was like 23,500 . The only thing is you still cant sit an adult in there anyways. I cant see the cost other than the problem I have now

No no no she hardly drives stick. We only realized a few hours after leaving the dealer. Yes i know its kinda stupid of us. But I never had a problem like this in any other car. We have a 1998 VW golf that seating is no issue. Its really just the silly bench seat that dont even look like a bench seat. I was so worried about other things like getting approved and warrante ect.. I did not think to see if she and I fit while shes driving.

I would have to think there is some kind of seat back cushion that would push her forward without pushing the whole seat forward.

Hell yeah. but even with that my knees are pinned on the dash. A 60/40 seats you would think would be standard today.

You joined in 2000 and have almost 7000 (that's 3 zeros) posts. Yet you expected helpful non-sarcastic posts from OT.

Methinks there's a short somewhere.
