The L85A1 is actually very inaccurate despite the description.

The G36C kicks ass though.
Sniper rifle isnt' worth it.
G3 is powerful, but lacks a nade launcher and a large magazine
Support weapon is meh.
Engy gun is nice, but shotguns are still weak in general
Medic gun will likely be my third unlock.
DAO-12 is kickass, but I don't play AT very often. Will likely be my second unlock.

or change the code (cant remember what file) and play in single player, go to gamewinners.com and look it up under cheat codes... it was here somewhere but I can't find it

They removed the ability to unlock the weapons in single player with the 1.01 patch.

My brother has the mod already on his BF2 for all the unlocked guns. I just can't decide what to get!

I play Medic most of the time, Special Op as a secondary, and Sniper on certain maps.

I unlocked the Engineer's upgraded shotgun because I play Engineer about 90% of the time. Nice room clearer but you'll get in trouble if you get into a fight outside and the enemy is more than 10 feet away.

I unlocked the Sniper Rifle first. Even though I mostly had been playing a Medic in BF2. I always liked playing a sniper in BF42, and the Desert Combat mods (usually because my clanmates had the other choices covered well). The .50Cal sniper rifle has one of the nicest sounds, but the damage it does isn't that 'great'. It is not the 'one shot, one kill' weapon it mostly was, but still much more fun then the regular one. The trade-off being the reduced ammo capacity (IIRC). I think I will unlock the medic next time.

Bastards... O well, I don't use the patch for obvious reasons so I'm still good for a couple days.

BFHQ tab in the game. Or there are a number of stats sites on the web.

First unlock is around 1000-1100 points.

Best way to gain a ton of points is play medic. :)

I unlocked the Medic gun and went a few hours with it, and let me say, I LOVE IT! It's much like the M4 (Special Ops primary gun), but stronger. I was pegging away at guys from short-long distance away with ease, and it only takes a few shots if you hit them on their upper body.

Before I could outsnipe Snipers with the M4.. now I can do it with my Medic too

Thats how I got to Lance Corporal in one night from starting on a clean exp. bar. Medic is actually damn fun though, the M16 isn't as bad as everyone says it is, I own with it.
