Does she leave flyers on people's windshields and doorknobs, too? Nobody wants people putting advertsiing all over thier property, whether it has a flag or not.

someone always did this in our old neighborhood and i thought it looked really neat. i dont understand crazy people but it always seems some person doesnt have enough to do in their lives so the just bitch and complain about everything.
Trust me, there is one in every neighborhood.

The neighbor is not going to follow through on the threat to call the cops. Even if they do, the cops won't do anything unless their is a no-soliciting sign on the property somewhere.

I have to agree with notfred here. If you put an American flag up, why do you need to advertise?

Your wife is smart and found another way to market/advertise utilizing our patriotism so that others wouldn't complain.

However, it truly is undermining the integrity of the flag. It should NEVER be used as a form of advertisement like your wife is doing. She's lucky she didn't get a bullet from my gun.

I agree the guy had a few screws loose, but she was using the flag for advertising if she put buisness cards on them.

Is that what it stands for? Causing severe harm to people that undermine the values of the American flag?

I don't think I would like that either. She's using the flag to sell her services which doesn't sit all that well with me.

Not really, she's just delivering a flag and letting them know who it is from. There is nothing on there that says call so and so if you want to sell your house. It's just a flag with a compliments of tag on it.

it's a business card right? that's what your OP says even though now you say it's a "compliments of tag". if I received such a flag, or any other unasked for message, and it contained a business card I would treat it as unwelcome advertising. I know you're sticking up for your wife and all but I don't think you are seeing others' POV. granted your neighbor sounds like a psycho.

10ft or so from the curb is government property anyhow. Thats how they can build a sidewalk and put posts and boxes in it.

Oh, bullsh!t. you said she was marketing in the first sentence of your first post. And since when does a realtor's business card not say "Realtor" and have a phone number on it?

Unless your wife's business card actully reads "Have a happy 4th of July, here's a flag courtesy of Mrs. Jules Maximus", she was out doing marketing, like you said in the first place.
