I have a WD 160GB SE HD.

The volume I am left with is 149Gb to use.

I know that the manufactors don't count 1GB as 1024mb but 1000mb and all that.

I'm wondering what DID you guys GET?

When I was formatting it Partition Magic 8 was giving me some problems 🙁. Now I can't seem to get in to Partition Magic 8 to make my partitions and a few other things 🙁. Removed and installed it serveral times even to a different drive. Still won't load up 🙁

I don't have a WD drive but rather a 160GB Maxtor. The BIOS screen of PCI controller card that it is attached to reads 152GB.
