160gb 7200 rpm drive for $29.99

Western digital 160gb 7200 rpm drive for $29.99 at Best Buy Thanksgiving sale. That is the cheapest price I have ever seen for this drive. Time to start loading movies on the drives because now there is space for them.

There is a $30.00 and a $60.00 rebate.

I ordered one yesterday and they were out of stock not to long later. I had to pay shipping and taxes, so it will be about $45.00 after rebate for me.

I think Stables or Circuit City has a 200 Gig 7200 RPM for $49.99 after rebate.

I would've bought the 160 gb BB drive if I would've caught it in the ads. I did buy the 200 gb for $50 AR at OM. Still need to do a return/rebuy with it though. The BB drive is about .19¢ a gig before taxes and the OM drive is about .25¢ a gig before taxes. I wanted both because you can never have enough storage. Oh well..

I picked up mine at the Staples located at 4th Ave and 1st st, Brooklyn, NY.
The reps have them in back of the counter, she said that they had less then 10 left.
I saw one other guy buying one while mine was ringing up.
I got it at 0745 thjis morning.

At our local BB there was around 10 or so of those 160gb drives. This was at around 8:00 am as well. We didn't buy any though because at that time the line in the store had made itself around to the entrance, lol.

i went today (saturday, "black saturday" haha) and the BB i went to had about 10-15 instock.

I've done this before in the past where I go on Saturday and the items will be restocked and I can buy it for the same price as it was on friday and not wait in line.
