It depends on the purpose of the lunch, the people attending, etc.

You have far more leeway to cancel a lunch meeting if its for fraternizing/networking as compared to a working lunch where you will be discussing important matters.

I'd cancel if its a networking lunch. No need being miserable and making others sick in this kind of case. Rescheduling would be a nice idea
