You're trying to be funny but you end up sounding stupid. Obviously an impact wrench would have significantly more torque. Normal ranges of torque for pneumatic impact wrenches start at 800 ft/lbs!

RSX Type-S Standing 1/4-mile: 14.9 sec @ 95 mph
Sentra Spec-V runs a 15.5

You're an idiot. What do you drive? The point of the vid is to show real world comparisons of the cars, instead of all the Camry/Accord/Civic driving mag racers posting stats.

The Ralliart and teh RSX-s probably do low 15s, high 14s.

Remind us what the good ole "muscle cars" during the "good ole" days used to run again?

Oh god, yes I'm an idiot. I'm merely pointing out that whoever filmed the races puts (Intake) in the title after each car like it's some big thing. I have an intake! I'm awesome!

And the point of the video isn't to show "real" world comparisons of the cars. It's show off these idiots street racing.

I drive a 350z, but wtf does that have to do with anything.

I've never owned a muscle car in my life.

I'm just being cynical about making a racing video of cars that are barely considered "fast" to begin with. Especially with little mod lists and sound in the background making street racing nearly stock and arguably slow cars make made tyte yo...

You're an even bigger idiot for making that assumption. It wasn't put there cuz it's some big thing. It's done for thoroughness. It's like if two 350Zs race and the one with intake/exhaust wins. Wouldn't you want to know that it wasn't stock?

And I'm not hosting the video to show off street racing, I'm hosting it to compare the cars.

Most people making fun of these cars usually drive even slower automatics.

Are barely considered what? I agree that I'm not a big fan of music in the background, but the point of the video is not to show off ridiculously modded cars.

I've seen quite a few threads about people who were thinking of buying these cars, and this video shows what they can do.

people who are looking to buy these cars wont care which teenybopper can drive their 15sec car faster from a red light. Those cars can't do much..that's my point.

That video is no more exciting than me taking my stepbros pacifica and racing my roommates windstar. At least one of us would have RWD...

Are you trying to tell me that people who buy a Civic Si, a Sentra SpecV, an SVT Focus or an RSX type S don't care about the performance?

video is teenagers streetracing them with K&N intakes is no way to judge performance. Not to mention none of those cares are apr for dragracing. If anythign the Spec-V, SVT focus and RSX should be on the track...

Yes, on the track. The place where street races and stoplight racing have taken place since the golden days of the muscle cars.

None of them are for drag racing? They all have higher output engines and more performance oriented suspension that their lower end models.

Humor me... What cars do you consider drag racing worthy?

SCCA

Why would you stoplight race a nearly stock FWD car is beyond me.

try watching car & driver sometime, it might open your eyes. The review of SVT focus was on the track. The review Neon SRT was on the track. Even the RSX-S was revied on the track. I wonder why...

i don't understand the muscle car remarks either,
the fastest thing i've ever owned was my red riceburner

Right, and they always test those cars head to head, so we know how the cars stack up against each other.

Cuz in real life people never try to beat each other on fwy onramps, and nobody care what their vehicles can do. And I'm sure that you have never, ever raced or gone faster cuz of someone that was on the road.

96 Eagle talon TSI awd,5 speed, 3in catback, 14b turbo @ 18psi using dual stage electronic boost controller, first get blow off valve, K&N fipk, starion FMIC. That thing would fly... 18psi should put me near 280hp

edit:
forgot act 2600 clutch

You're still trying to argue that a video of bunch of fwd compacts with cone intakes is a good way to show off perofmance. Please step back and think about what you're saying.

oh yeah my brother has a 95 TSI FWD right now with cat back, intake, bov, MBC and automatic tranny that would still run circles around the cars in the video. Even without LSD.

Um.. it's a STREET RACE. That means this guys are amateurs and it doesn't make a flying fvck if one has an intake or not. It boils down to the drivers. The video is just to show off how "cool" these guys are racing on the street.
