1600x1200 wallpapers

Anyone have any places to get good 1600x1200 wallpapers? I _just_ got my Sony E500 21" monitor and I'm going to run it at 16x12@85. It's awesome. After a scare when first starting it up because I had it connected to a VGA extension cable instead of straight to the computer, it's beautiful. Much better than my 17" Mag that had a light blue tint to it.

You can take smaller ones and enlarge them. I typically take webartists work and expand/crop to fit.

I've tried that with a few that started out at 1024x768. Just setting it to stretch in desktop properties but the pictures really degrade when I do that. Like I went through desktopgirls.com and found a couple pictures that I like and tried to stretch them but the color on the skin really gets messed up. Same goes for a couple car pictures that I had.

If you mean I should try messing around with them in photoshop, that's probably beyond me. I can draw a crooked line in MS-Paint, that's about it

I'm finding a few cool ones just type typing "1600x1200 wallpapers" into Yahoo. The one on the left on this page is pretty darn cool.

Don't use stretch. Use GIMP or photoshop type apps.

I forgot about one of my favorite places to look at cool pictures of the rich and infamous. kimble.org. A rich bastard that documents his travels with a Nikon D1.. He has lots of cool pictures of places he travels too. Found a nice one of a Irish castle/home type place.
