So, I made a new system:

CPU: AMD phenom II X4 965 BE
MOBO: [FONT=verdana,geneva]M4A88TD-V EVO/USB3
RAM: Corsair
[/FONT]CMX4GX3M2A1600C9[FONT=verdana,geneva]

And the MOBO doesn't support the RAM, but I still bougth it and now it runs too low, so can i OC the ram by itself or do I have to OC the CPU too, to match the frequency?

you up the fsb to 200 in the BIOS (it's called overclocking)

if you don't want to overclock you run a 5:6 memory divider.

but you'll notice next to none <5&#37; difference between 1333Mhz and 1600Mhz, the reason faster memory modules exist is if you want to overclock your cpu.

nope, basically your memory run at the standards speed for the CPU (1333Mhz), but it's rated to run 1600Mhz if you decide to do some overclocking.
