16 player halo 2 at my cousin's house last friday...

AkumaX

Lifer
entire downstairs set up in a circle (house has 2 living rooms, divided by a staircase in the middle)

4 large screen tvs

4 xboxes

16 controllers

cat5 cable everywhere hooked to a switch

food/drink everywhere

geeks everywhere

blew the circuit breaker on the house twice

 for those who made it happen 🙂

WOW!!! never got the point of first person shooters on an xbox though. give me a mouse/keyboard over a controller anyday for FPS

I have a question. When playing like this, you can use voice comms still can't you? I am thinking of using Halo2 to train my MPs because a Warthog with a driver, gunner and passenger is very much the way that MPs function in real life. I would like to setup a training session using Halo2 at our conference center on post. I was also considering setting up a Halo2/Xbox LAN party for the entire installation here at Fort Riley.

I didn't want to make a new thread about this but can someone tell me how far I am from beating the campaign mode??

I passed the "100,000 years war" and now playing the some chapter with the word "mirror" in it
any ideas?

sounds like fun

theres nothin like plugging your xbox into your colleges network and consistantly having multiple halo 2 games going that you can join

played all day/night yesterday in a group of four. It is much better IMO than Halo multiplayer. This game rocks. Because of the split screen, much more fun than some pc games.

no one is denying that keyboard/mouse is more efficient, but since everyone is using contrllers it's even.

Not to mention I'll give up the keyboard/mouse to have fun with 16 other people, much better than sitting alone in a room playing with random people IMO
