Are you fricking serious?

You really need to get some perspective. A twisted ankle is post worthy? It's worth people asking for their thoughts?

People are dying in Iraq, women lose babies every day, people destroy their knees in freak accidents, people get cancer.

And you expect us to be worried about a sprained ankle?

Shit, I used to swim laps with broken toes, mashing them into the side of the wall while doing flip turns.

I think you should send Anand a few bucks for wasting his bandwidth.

Am I high or was mjuszczak at one point openly gay on these forums... maybe it's the avatar that's confusing me.

did they pave the trail recently? :p
uneven surfaces, specially if they were slick, and with heavy packs on, can bring you down quickly if you have your eyes on anything else, like... the scenery. ;):p

She took the day off today to go to the doctors , but it's too deep to attempt to ford the river. She doesn't have enough money for the ferry either! Hoping for the best and hoping this'll only be a few day thing and she can get started again!

Anyway, just keep her in everyone's thoughts! Thanks!

Fixed.

i know you love her so you are concerned. she'll be alright, up and going again in no time.

Oh, I wouldn't worry...I'm sure the both of them can come up with something to do while she is laid out...

At least we didn't get a thread asking whether she should go see a doctor or whether he should bring her a pair of clean socks.

Dude, get some perspective. Twisting her ankle is not worthy of me thinking about your GF, well maybe not in the way you want me to.... ;)

Hope she gets well!

Is she really hiking in those sandals in the pictures? No wonder she hurt her ankle. My hiking boots make it so that my ankle can hardly move at all, so I don't even think it would be possible for me to injure it. Ankle support is especially important when wearing a backpack.
  • Sandals + 2,178 miles of hiking + backpack = epic fail
But, I hope she's OK nonetheless.

Best of luck to her. edit: never mind... I see that there were pictures of her on the ATOT DC meet :)

Heh, guess I wasn't the only one that didn't seem to learn the correct lessons from that game. Seriously though, I think it's great that your girlfriend finally found a way to avoid you for the next 200 days.
