i think that was really funny...

the kid was a total tool and really got pwned.

but i think the mods should be ashamed of themselves for their behaviour.

while there are times that i totally disagree with some of the mods here, and think they are blatant in playing favourites... i am really grateful that they all behave in a much more respectable manner then the mods did over there.

:)

Basically what I said, just worded differently. I'm gonna go lay some smack down on some rice tonight.

The original post seemed to me to be mostly in jest, to say they went overboard is an understatement... but not surprising at all coming from a bunch of 16-20 year old sub-80 IQ males.

Yes, not very impressive and a waste of time. I was hoping for some real ownership and was left wanting... you don't wanna be left wanting!

that's pretty scary.

Because he used an email acct with his name, it was easy to track his father by name and region. What the mods did there is totally unacceptable and -in the end- I suspect some people on that site are going to pay dearly.

It was a funny read, but the whole thing seemed (from the mods down) to be a little childish. Not that I keep my contact info a secret, but I'd be upset if a mod released my info in a manner like that.

The mod is a jackass. The kid's stupid for using his real email to sign-up.

I think it would have been awesome if the mod hadn't released his email address and other users had just rooted out the information on their own.

I'm sure the mod violated some sort of privacy rule, which isn't cool at all...

I doubt it. Most forums when you register, there is usually a policy you agree to that says something to the effect of everything you submit to the forum, the forum owns.

Perhaps the things you post in public, but I can't see how your personal information or PMs would be considered that way.
