Super saver is only on shipping. If it hasn't shippe dyet it hasn't hit super saver. Perhpas they are out of stock?

I usually get it the same week if I order early enough. The one major exception was when I accidentally ordered a book that hadn't come out yet, and left the option to ship all at once checked.

you mean they haven't shipped yet ? Based on my experience I don't think the delay is because of super saver shipping, but some other reason. Like they don't have the items in stock.

Never had a problem with the shipping. What shipping carrier did they ship with ?

USPS takes long
UPS takes about 3-4 days

Did you order it from one of the third party stores through Amazon? I've had slow shipping a couple of times when I did that.

No, I have ordered 3 books from 3rd parties since placing this order, and all three have come.

Amazon says that you are put at the end of the queue when you do super saving shipping, but this is fvcked up. I shipped with super saver a few months ago and it took two weeks

strange. i ordered a book for backup exec 9, that is supposed to ship out in 5-10 days per the product page, on april 21, and it got shipped out april 24th using free super saver
shipping.

Both books are in stock. Both are old, with little demand. They give a huge gap of a delivery estimate: April 13, 2005 - May 18, 2005

The book pages say nothing of a delay; One cool sci fi book and Dr. Feynman

Really ... I see:
Availability: Usually ships within 3 to 5 weeks from Amazon.com
on the first one. And did you say that you wanted it in 1 shipment to save on shipping? Isn't that required for the free shipping? If so then they hold it for all of the books to become available.

That looks like the problem. Amazon doesn't stock that book themselves, they get it from some third-party warehouse.
