Well, I could do that, however it's technically more than the last 90 credits.

Yeah, I read it wrong, I thought those were your current semester grades. I'm not sure what the appropriate way to divy it up is.

I'd calculate your GPA (using all 4 classes) for that semester, then do this:

((8 * that semester's GPA) + (82 * other semesters' GPA))/90

To be accurate, you'd need a copy of your transcript; that is, unless you recall the grades and credit hours of your first ten courses.

Well, I have a copy of my transcript in front of me. 😕

Rather easy then.

[(82*CurrentGPA) - (SumProduct of first ten credit hours crossed with respective grade) + (5*3.4)+(5*3.6)+(5*4.0)+(3*4.0)] / 90

Of course, the most accurate method would be to simply sum the products of the last 90 credits with their respective grades, and divide by the number of credits (at or around 90, depending on the credits per course). The above method (unless you have a GPA calculated with a large number of significant figures) can allow a bit of rounding error to enter into the final calculation.

Right, that's what I'm leaning toward.

How do you calculate your GPA for the last 90 credits?

Guess they giving away degrees these days.😛

I know how to calculate it for a smooth 90 credits, just not sure how to allocate that quarter's GPA - whether you would just weight that quarter's total GPA proportionately with the rest of the 90 credits or whether you'd take certain classes in total into the calculation and disregard the remaining two. Yeesh.

Ahh I see. Well it seems to me if this school or whomever has this weird ass policy of "last 90" they have a policy for how to handle this. Ask them. Do they average the "break point" quarter? Pick and choose classes? I dunno.

BTW whats with all these 5 credit classes? That's usually in the sciences with labs but you're on the otherside of campus being biz.

Jesus Christ people, these are my individual classes for Fall Quarter 2003, NOT semester grades.
Finally, a bit of clarity. The problem was rather poorly explained the first time through.

lol That is the most logical choice. I'll give them a call on Monday.

Guess you should restate the question, everyone in is such a hurry to call you a moron 😛

I'd probably weight it, but it probably wouldn't make a lot of difference if you just cherry picked a couple classes.

One way (just taking the two highest course grades for Fall Quarter 2003) gets me a 3.7, the other (8/18*the GPA weights) gets me a 3.68 or so.
