A friend of mine did this so she could break them and glue them up on her wall.

...it took a lot of mirrors...but now its done...a whole wall is shattered glass. Looks kind of neat...

Got my front license plate holder/plate and my newly purchased Bosh Wipers stolen. God damn damn low lifes.
 
this happened to my uncle's minivan one day. We think it was because he parked outside an autobody shop (legit spot though) and those guys didn't like it... since they have to move cars around, they think of the nearby spots as their own. So as non-damaging revenge, they took his mirror - just the glass. How else would something like that happen ... a bunch of guys working on cars right there and all of a sudden someone's mirror boldly disappears.

I got my window shot out last night!

I'd rather have to replace a side mirror than a whole window.

I primarily use my rear-view mirror and my own vision (I ALWAYS check my blind spot and in doing so check further back), so I'm not too worried about that; however, parallel parking is going to be difficult until I get it fixed.

Oh, geez! That sucks!

Yeah, I think a replacement mirror will cost $20 if I'm lucky, but I know a side window is a lot more expensive.
 
I dont have a passenger mirror because some idiot clipped it back in the 80's.. I've got some cheap replacement till I find a cheap one on ebay. sucks to have it happen though
