Whoo, first pic! :D Thanks phreakah... she's cute, but I don't think I should come into work tomorrow with Pam Anderson hair. ;) I was thinking something a little milder.

I like some of the looks sported by these ladies

Ok, that doesn't look so bad at all actually.

I give it

Edit: especially the girl in the blue in the first pic.

I agree with those who say blonde is a little extreme for Asian hair. Brown or dark red highlights look better IMO. Just a fellow Asian guy's opinion :)

I think alot of asian girls that go blond are already raelly hot so it's not the hair thats making them look good. And for some reason when i see a totally blonde asian girl i immediately label her as "bitch" until i get to know her better at which time my opinion might change. The more tinted look is classier personally.

Straight up blonde is not a good look for asians in my opinion. Highlights look good and i think if you get that slight orange tint it looks fine, but really blond hair just looks way too fake and out of place.

Good hair coloring on asian

Agreed. If your hair is straight out blonde and your an asian female you are either an import car slut or a porn star.

Easy way to know which ones to hit on ;)

But I think red looks better then blonde myself

Ivy, I think it's a nice look if done right that wouldn't work for everyone but I think you would look pretty good with that hair color. I've seen pictures of blonde Asian women and I thought they were pretty attractive.

Give it a try. :)

I've done it before. Your hair becomes very brittle. You will need a lot of conditioner. It suits some people and doesn't suit some others. It depends on the person.

Hope you have more fun being blonde!

I think it will look funny if it they do not match.

What rug?

BWAAAHHAAHHAHAHAH!!!

Anyway, Asians look TERRIBLE With blonde hair. There's a reason that nature has deemed you to have black hair, and this is it. You're free to do whatever you want, but I can't think of anything besides nose rings that are more likely to make you look worse than before you got them.

Blonde hair will do nothing to help you. It helps the asian girls that are not that attractive to begin with because it takes the eyes away from their ugly parts (face). You are pretty enough that it will not help you, and can only take away from your natural features. Don't do it.

My opinion...If you don't like it the go supersaian and ekick me in the head.

What he said.
But if you still decide to dye it blonde, don't forget to give us some pic later ;)

i don't particularly like blonde hair on asian girls. i know it's a stereotype, but i usually associate blonde asians as party girls. someone mentioned it above, but whenever i see blonde asian girls, they usually have caked on makeup and it makes them look cheap in the end.

but then again, i think i've got a fetish for brunette white girls :p

edit: of course, it's your hair so you can always change it in the end. no biggie.

Don't do it... I did it once, it did NOT look good at all. just highlight your hair, don't do all blonde.

i hope it's a good stylist, because i've seen so many girl's hair become brittle after bleaching it then going blond.

if you hate it, don't dye your hair black. it comes off looking too dark and unnatural. mine always recommended to dye it dark brown if i ever did anything that drastic. (but i only highlight my hair brown, so it doesn't really matter in this case i guess.)

He's good, I've seen samples of his work and I'm pretty impressed. Thanks for the tip about coloring it back if it goes to hell, dark brown would probably be less harsh. How much does it cost to get your hair highlighted brown? I'm getting this coloring for free b/c the stylist needs to update his portfolio with a "blonde Asian". Free haircut at Fred Segal tomorrow too! :D

I'm going to be a hair model there tomorrow evening. :) Normally they charge $150 for a cut, but for me it's free.

my friend is a model at fred segal... the one in SM near 3rd street

I know the color is free this time, but consider that having colored hair becomes another periodic, expensive bill to pay.
