Look at the hair, not the clothes. 😛

The girls aren't skanks though, most are very smart pharmacy students and happen to like to go out when they're not studying.

i hope it's a good stylist, because i've seen so many girl's hair become brittle after bleaching it then going blond.

if you hate it, don't dye your hair black. it comes off looking too dark and unnatural. mine always recommended to dye it dark brown if i ever did anything that drastic. (but i only highlight my hair brown, so it doesn't really matter in this case i guess.)

He's good, I've seen samples of his work and I'm pretty impressed. Thanks for the tip about coloring it back if it goes to hell, dark brown would probably be less harsh. How much does it cost to get your hair highlighted brown? I'm getting this coloring for free b/c the stylist needs to update his portfolio with a "blonde Asian". Free haircut at Fred Segal tomorrow too! 😀

yea, i know what you mean. i know plenty of medschool/optometry/pharm/dental students that go out looking like skanks when they are not studying. great for the guys :thumbsup:

Straight up blonde is not a good look for asians in my opinion. Highlights look good and i think if you get that slight orange tint it looks fine, but really blond hair just looks way too fake and out of place.

Agreed. If your hair is straight out blonde and your an asian female you are either an import car slut or a porn star.

That's just not true. My GF is neither (nor does she look like either)! FWIW, I think blonde looks better than tinted hair on Asians.
 
how would it only be a semi dye? i have blonde hair but because of my red undertones when i go blonde it has to be bleached or else it has this weird orange tinge to it.

i just went back to my natural colour (dark blonde) with light blonde highlights over top. getting here was the biggest bitch because my hair was bleached before it wouldn't hold a dye. ugh! so frustrating.

don't go blonde!

anyways, there are a bunch of asian kids in my one class and they all did bright red highlights over top of their dark hair and it looked soooooo good. also, blonde highlights look good on asian girls but i wouldn't recommend a full dye.
