he did like napolean dynamite and shaun of the dead though
but if he doesnt like it, its hard for anyone to enjoy it because he makes lotsa comments
edit:
to his credit, he does like movies that are written well and have no plot holes...he just cant enjoy dumb action movies anymore and he seriously looks for any plothole
