I think fashion in South Korea, Japan and China is pretty much derived from Europe. Caucasian features are desirable so that's why a lot of young women dye their hair, get double eyelid surgery and breast implants

It's because it was the Japanese craze 10 years ago and the Koreans are Japanese wannabe's in terms of culture and fashion. Exception being that they don't catch on for 10 years so they're like ghosts of Japanese fashion/culture. Shazam!
That may have been the case before but now I think they're pretty much on par (and maybe Koreans have surpassed the Japanese in cinema in the last couple years).

Appearantly they don't have anywhere near as many issues as hot indian women...my friends will not shut the hell up about how bitchy indian women are.

Why do people pierce their bodies? Why do people get tattoos? Why do some people get plastic surgery? People want to be "different" but it becomes common fad.

In all honesty, I think Asian girls strive to look more Caucasian. That's why many dye their hair, put streaks in their hair, get eyelid surgery, and some are even afraid to get tan from the sunlight.

For instance, in Taiwan, many girls carry umbrellas to shield themselves from the Sun. You can also go to just about any store to purchase skin lighteners there. I'm sure Michael Jackson can attest to that. ;):D

At the same time, Caucasians try to become more olive-skinned/darker-skinned by purchasing tons of tanning lotion...

The irony.

Why do so many Korean girls streak/dye their hair blonde?
What, you expect them to dye their hair a deeper shade of black?

I think it's just part of the current fashion trend to streak/dye hair. Blonde stands out more against black. I've seen red and other colors as well.

and korean girls who highlight their hair are friggin retarded. The koreans who do that always fit the same description. I'm korean, and I have a sever dislike towards a lot of people of my own kind due to their ego, too much pride, anger management problems, lives life superficially, materialistic.

I can count the number of korean friends that I have with one hand, and all of them aren't like that at all. Just that a vast majority of koreans are like that. Hate it.

If you guys ever live in LA and go to korea town at night, then you'll knw what i'm talking about. Or...
just go to Life/Diamond Plaza in Rowland Hts which is about 30-40 minutes SE of los angeles off the 60 freeway. Some asians need to get a friggin clue on how they are really percieved by others.

because koreans are stuck ups who think they're so badass and have a ego as high as the empire state building and as wide as a sumo wrestler's ass. and korean women are so goddamn complicated

don't worry, I'm korean too and I'm not so proud or fond of my own people.

we think alike. :)

My X is korean and she's a biatch. enough said. It's hard to find a decent korean girl in the US. I donno, it's something to do with the clash of the upbringing from traditional parents + background american culture that probably phokked it up.

well said, braddah!

I'm sometimes feel ashamed for some korean people because of all the things you said... ego, pride, anger management problems (partly because they think being angry is cool), living life superficially, materialistic.

I'm just GLAD I'm a twinkie.

At the same time I've noticed a lot of young american girls now, especially celebrities dyeing their hair black.
