Actually silver is probably the better value now. For $1500, you can get five sealed tubes of Silver Eagle coins, with 20 coins in each tube.

I'm going to go with dropping it in a high interest savings account, such as the ones mentioned before. IMHO, as risky as young people like us can be (I'm 24), I think high risk investment shouldn't happen without at least 3 months of emergency cash.

you are young so i would recommend stocks. high risk high reward. you can be conservative when you're closer to retirement.
