$1500 budget: custom PC

I have $1500 to build a new PC with. I need everything. Monitor, keyboard, etc.

I primarily will use this for web browsing and occasinal word processing.

Dual monitor would be cool I suppose but I am not sure if it is useful for my needs. No monitors over 30".

What should I do?

First off you should fill out a quiz: http://forums.anandtech.com/showthread.php?t=80121

If your primary uses are web browsing and word processing, the PC itself should not cost more than $500 or so, unless you just want to pay for a flashy case or something. If you want to spend a lot of money, spend it on a good IPS monitor, a good mechanical keyboard, headphones etc.

Since you don't know, it probably isn't. I've got two monitors but I practically never use them simultaneously as I can get everything done on a single monitor. One is 22" 120hz so I use that in fast paced online games, the other is 27" 60hz which is for single player games and movies, etc.

Is there a particular reason you need to spend so much on a computer? If you're really just web browsing and word processing you can get a pretty cheap prebuilt from Dell Outlet or similar and save a lot of dough.

Also, does the $1500 need to include the monitors you're talking about?

Or maybe get a laptop? Would the mobility be useful to you?

As Lehtv mentioned, we really don't know what you need until you fill out [thread=80121]that quiz[/thread].
