Ya, that's definately Palm range. Look for both Handsprings and Palms in that fit that price range; I think there's the M125 and the Handspring Neo.

I know nothing about PDAs.

Can you have them sync with MS Outlook and get your calendar, contacts, tasks? Can you make changes on your PDA and have the changes updated in Outlook?

yes, that is more or less basic functionality, just about any pda can do that (palm or ppc at least)

Well, after a Jornada 525 and now a Jornada 548, I thought I was sold on a color OS via Pocket PC.....

I'm a long time Sprint customer and always lusted after a PDA-Phone combo. Never being thrilled with the Palm OS and considering the expense I resisted.

Finally after the Kyocera 6035 was nearing the end of it's saleable lifespan and now coming down to around $125 or less, I bought one.

Fell in LOVE I did!

It lacks expandibility in the form of memory cards and lacks color, but for usefulness in everyday business and organisation I wonder how I ever survived without it!

There are TONS of PDAs available that will meet your stated needs for well under $100.
