$150 in computer books for $10 + S/H

So, have you guys got your books yet? I submitted my application for processing, but nowhere did I ask to give the payment info, or does that come later in the mail? Overall, this doesn't seem to be a bad deal.

Thanks,

JHY

Maybe I should wait a few days to see if you guys get your books first b/f I ask that question.

A shipping and handling charge (and sales tax where applicable) is added to each order.

This isn't going to be huge like it was in the old days with BMG and Columbia House, is it?

Hmm it never made me pay.

Title Book Code Publisher's Price
Mark Minasi's Windows 2000 Resource Kit: A Four-Volume Set 104844 $124.99
C Programming for Embedded Systems 116624 $29.95
Windows 2000 Programming from the Ground Up 56101 $34.99

6 books for $5.97 plus shipping. Not bad. If they try to asscram me with shipping, I'll just send them back.

I just tracked down a phone # which is suspiciously missing from their site) and spoke to a CS woman.

Their shipping is:

1 book - $6.45
2 books - $10.40
3 books - $14.35
4 and over - $16.20

Murpheeee - could you post the phone number for us please?

Just got:

3D Game Programming with C++, Gold Book 886473 $49.99 (I've been wanting this!)
Flash 4! Creative Web Animation 69690 $39.99
Macromedia Director 8 and Lingo Authorized 138446 $49.99 (Its time to move on!)
Flash 4 Bible $39.99
Total $179.96

For only $5.97 + $16.20 shipping, this ain't bad at all.

I didn't see anything on buying a book at normal price though. Do I wait till they've shipped to me?

For your information:

When will I be billed for my order?
A benefit of your club membership is that ordering online allows you to pay for your selections after you receive them. An invoice, is included in each shipment. Payment is due upon receipt. If you prefer, you may order using either your VISA, MasterCard, or American Express credit card. Follow the instructions in the Shoppng Cart to use your credit card for purchase.

$5.97 + $16.20 shipping for the first order.

$4.99 + $6.45 shipping to fulfill your requirements.

Total: $33.61 shipped. Not bad for:
Mark Minasi's Windows 2000 Resource Kit: A Four-Volume Set 104844 $124.99
C Programming for Embedded Systems 116624 $29.95
Windows 2000 Programming from the Ground Up 56101 $34.99

Thw Windows 2000 Resource Kit contains Mastering Windows 2000 Server, Mastering Windows 2000 Professional, Mastering Windows 2000 Registry, and Mastering Active Directory. Very nice.

FYI: The $4.99 book for fulfillment that I found was "A Sigh of Relief: The First-Aid Handbook for Childhood Emergencies (840710)" in the Special Interests section. Why they have those books in the computer/technology club, who knows, but that works for me.

Hey i ordered the same deal last week myself..BTW does anyone have that phone number to call them?😕

There are other book clubs on the same site - I'm thinking that's where the special interest books are coming from...I think I saw a novel or two in there...
