$150 for Pentium 350Mhz(probably a gateway)....worth it?

If I explained the whole situation, it would get boring, so here's the short version:

option 1: get Pentium 200Mhz computer fixed up; also have to buy CDROM drive. $50+CDROM

option2:buy Pentium 350Mhz computer, could be a gateway. $150

option3: build cheapo (but modern!) gaming rig: $350, but probably more, plus shipping

this is for a cheap DSL LAN, for web surfing on two computers at once plus light gaming. I already have one computer , so choose one option
and please tell why it is worth it 😉

Gaming RIG FOR $350 😉

Didn't the moderator go through this entire thing... If you don't find it a hot deal IGNORE IT... otherwise you keep bumping it to the top... So why did you waste your time writing to the moderator, and then writing your message... You wasted your time and mine.
 
Dell Optiplex GX1 in the middle for $159

We had those in our department for years. Excellent work computers, very solid and reliable, but not a gaming computer for sure.
 
Well i've had that dell optiplex for 3 years now. threw in some bigger hard drives, a soundblaster, more memory, and a pci vid card over the the last few years, and it runs pretty darn well. i would definetly pay 150 for that in this situation.
