linkIn a caption released by Vanity Fair with the photo last week, Cyrus expressed her comfort with how the apparently topless picture turned out.
"I think it's really artsy," she told the magazine at the time. "It wasn't in a skanky way. Annie took, like, a beautiful shot, and I thought that was really cool. That's what she wanted me to do, and you can't say no to Annie."
she was fully aware of what the photos looked like before the issue ever hit shelves. she and her father playing the innocent, exploited card now is just a pathetic attempt at damage control.
but, whatever. her career will be fine. vanessa hudgen's career was only mildly scathed by a much raunchier photo set. to you drama queens on the board believing everything for her is coming to an abrupt end, it's time you got used to the idea that our current generation of youth has a very high tolerance for young starlets and their 'mistakes'.
Side note: Most of us expressing feigned distaste for celeb scandals and others who've fallen from grace are the ones still clicking on the upskirts, stolen photo links, and home videos with the most ardent fervor. We're the hypocrites that get the tabloids and paparazzi paid. Maybe a little self-reflection is in order before the witch-hunt?
