ya know..i was having dinner with this pretty blond girl with green eyes today. she told me she wanted to date an engineer type because she's not into her ex bf type anymore. which is the hunky sexual type. (her words exactly) i had a little mental "woohoo!" when i heard that.

then she brought up ladder theory (intellectual whores and what not) and how she thinks its all bullshit that women have two ladders. (the fvck ladder and the friends ladder). So i had a second "woohoo!" because we've been hanging out for the last two weeks and i thought i was stuck on that friends ladder for good.

just to let you guys know....there's hope for us all.

So you just admitted that engineers are the polar opposites of sexual types . . . yeeeeeah. Not, that there's that many female engineers around to begin with.

Our department has a few cute electrical engineering girls ... but whenever I walk past them I see 5 - 10 guys trailing them. :D

that is so true. a high majority of the (small amount of) female engineers at my uni are probably among the smartest in the class.

They're engineers. Enough said.

This list certainly contributes to the engineer stereotype....

And number 7 would be a bit funnier for the nerds among us as:

"We understand that its' not the scalar quantity that counts, but the carefully chosen direction that turns it into a vector."

Don't worry; you'll mature out of this awkward stage...

I will be starting on an ME degree in the fall...

We can outlast you, we designed the energizer battery, it just keeps going, and going...

I took her home about an hour ago, and it wasn't I who was ready to quit for the night. Fun times to come, and can you say kinky?

That may apply to SOME engineers... But, I've known wayyyy to many engineers who, as a result of #8, didn't remember 7, 10-14. And, who couldn't apply anything they knew from the book into the lab. :) Probably just the engineers I went to school with though, right? They're part of the reason I left engineering.
