Of course the shipping is $12, but that adds to $27, which is what everyone else is selling it for without shipping. Mine has already arrived, ordered it late last week.

For those with an older computer, Staples B&M has a closeout on a Digital Research (I/OMagic) Super ISA Multi-I/O Controller, model DRISA, for $14.50. Hookups for 2 hard drives, 2 floppies, 2 serial and 1 parallel port, and 2 game ports. IRQ/LPT/COM settings fully configurable by jumper. Does not list Win98 compatability on the box (old stock), but it is confirmed Win98 compatable. Not a top-of-the-line controller, but great for adding more ports to an old dinasaur like my computer. I added $10 more worth of stuff and used my $10-off-$25 coupon. Stock varies by location of course.

Why is the shipping relevant? Well, because it almost doubles the cost of the item in this case! Sheesh. This isn't about sales tax... but this thread is "$15 Promise 100 controller," yet there is no way to get this controller for $15 unless you drive to their warehouse.

I think it's very relevant to note the shipping when it doubles the price of the item.
