okay I'm an American living in London, UK and itching to buy a monitor. I think I found a CTX monitor I want to buy but the CTX website and all these review sites describe the connector as 'D-Sub' or '15 pin D-Sub'... now is this just fancy technical language for VGA? Because I have a GeForce3 card and it only has VGA and S-video out... now if I can't find a VGA monitor what should I do over here? Any ideas? HELP!

Yup.... basically! D-Sub and D-Sub 15 are the same thing, and mean a analog connection. As for VGA, the GeForce 3 does use VGA, and is connected through a D-Sub 15 connection. So yup, to answer your question, the CTX will work with your GeForce 3.
