Twec.com has a great public offer going on right now in which they are giving 15% off CDs as long as you spend over $30. Public Coupon here.

The deal might be even hotter. I have a Dreamcast and ordered a Rumble Pack for $9.99 for the hell of it. Along with the 3 CDs that I ordered, the total came to $46.96, no tax applied. However, Twec.com reported that I saved $11.75 from my coupon, which is approximately 25%!. Not only is that 10% more savings than they advertised, but it applied to non-CD items as well. Also, for those who want their stuff in a hury, they simply deduct the ground shipping price rather than only allowing free ground shipping, so next day shipping is also deducted.

If you order from TWEC.com, check your credit card statement. Sometimes, they charge you full price without the 15% off as shown on the receipt.

I like the way Twec.com does the extra shipping...most retailers just say "Too Bad, you don't want ground shipping, you miss out." :|

I'll tell you why - I ordered Grandia 2 from them back in December. Used a 25% off coupon, and am still waiting for them to ship it. My repeated attempts at contacting them have failed.

This is not the first time either, as I ordered Shenmue from them back in Sept. went through a similar situation, sent numerous e-mails. Finally I got the game in early November and a nice e-mail saying that "something like this would never happen again, this is not the way we treat our customers, blah blah blah".

I was willing to believe them , but I guess that a 2 month turnaround is how they treat their customers.

Great prices don't make up for crappy customer service and long waits.

Yes, this happened to me. I called them and they said they'll credit back to my credit card but waited for a month, no credit then I called again, they told me the same thing that I'll see the credit in a few days. Waited for another month, STILL NO CREDIT. Now I have to call them for the THIRD TIME!!! The credit card company (MBNA) told me to get a credit transaction confirmation number from them so that MBNA can help me if TWEC doesn't credit back for me.

Another case, a friend of mine order from them and didn't get the discount too. He called and received the credit back to his credit card (Well, he's luckier than me).

If any of you experienced the same thing, please post.

We received the orders in acceptable time frame though.

Sorry guys, but I have to say I got my stuff right away. If you're ordering CDs I guess they're fine, if you're buying video game stuff you might have problems.
