ROSEVILLE, Minn., Oct 28 ? They waited until the students got their lunch, then 15 school cooks and one janitor who each put a quarter into a lottery pool came forward Monday night as the holders of a Powerball ticket worth more than $95 million.

WHY THE **** CAN'T I EVER BE THAT LUCKY?

How much do you wanna bet the other school employees who were offered in on the pool are KICKING THEMSELVES IN THE ASS REPEATEDLY today?

$95,000,000 / 16 = $5,937,500 assuming Uncle Sam takes 50% = Net $2,968,750

Dayum!

Well they are probably thinking "finally!" ... they've been playing $0.25 each per week since 1990. That's $169 invested per person over 13 yrs. Not too bad of a return...

Since they undoubtedly took the lump sum, cut it in half again. Still, 1.5 million for 25 cents is pretty good 😉

The article states each person's winnings would be about 2.1 million after taxes. So, halving that, they will each net around $1,050,000 assuming they take the lump sum.

Lucky bastids. I wonder if they'll keep their jobs. Workin at a school cafeteria isn't that high on the "what you wanna be when you grow up" list. They'll probably all quit and go play bingo for years to come. 😀
