I just thought that all on the James Bond fans on the board would like to know that the TBS Superstation will be airing 15 days of James Bond movies starting October 1st.......... sweet :)

HELL YEAH BOND IS DA MAN!! My favorite movie series of all time. I always love to watch Bond flicks. My roommate had better get ready for a whole bunch of TBS :D

Bond rocks! Don't have cable here, so I'll have to bust out my DVDs instead... :)

Quick trivia question: What was the only Bond film (besides Dr. No) to not feature Desmond Llewelyn as Q?

you serious? I could have sworn that one of those films had a different "Q-like" guy...

I can rule out the 3 most recent, OHMSS, and most of the Roger Moore...

I shall guess again!

Uncouth: That was the first film starring Roger Moore, and the producers wanted to focus more on him than on the cool gadgets... hence no Q. :)

Very much like Moore to mess up the better parts of Bond.

I am not a big fan of him...

Aquaman and Yakko:

They used Lazenby because MGM was unable to get a contract for Pierce Brosnan at production time for "Her Majesty's Secret Service." Brosnan was locked into some TV with a "No Work" clause... meaning he couldn't do other big productions while on the show. I don't remember what show he was on but I remember it was some stupid sitcom.



BTW, any true Bond fan would own all (and I mean ALL of the released DVDs)! Did I mention I own all the Bond DVDs? :p
