Well I pulled the proverbial trigger. Upgraded the LCD to TrueLife for $30 ... damn good price for an X2 with a gig of RAM -- I just hope it's stylish.

I've had an insperion 6100 for the last 4 years and haven't had one single issue with it. I also run F@H on it nonstop, so it's being stressed 24/7.

I ended up springing for it. Got an extra 2% (not much) off for using Dell Business credit.
Got Win XP didn't want to slow it down w/Vista. Will waite & see now. Replaced my old Compaq laptop that I got 8 years ago on Black Friday and never received the rebate for. I'm happy.
