I have 5/2 with FiOS right now for $35 and it's good enough for now. I may switch to 30/5 for $55 if the need comes.

FIOS sounds intense. Charter cable internet is one of the slowest in the country probably. I originally got cable when they introduced it long ago at 1.5mbps and I was like wow this is fast enough for anything. Then 3mbps came and it wasn't much better, and now, with game demos being so large, it takes 3 or more hours for some of them. Even things like the BF2 patch need to be thought of in advance and downloaded, since its going to take a while. Anything over 5mbps download would be insane. And, it costs us about $54 for the 3mbps/256kbps service!!

i'd be happy w/ FIOS 5/2 if it was full speed all the time. for now anyway. I'd like to see 10/10 soon for ~$35/mo. It just costs too much to lay down the infrastructure. And living in a not so rich place sucks cause we're last to get anything.
