Well, I finially broke 15,000 3dmarks in 3dmark05. I thought that this at least deserved a thread. But I'm sure in a week it'll fade away.

Same setup as above. (screwed up the screenshot, forgot to go to clock frequencies in Nvidia Control Panel)

With dual 7900GT's in SLI both with vgpu mod and vmem mod (1.4 and 2.2 respectivly).

I'm really impressed with my 7900Gt's especally with the vmod. The best $22 I ever spent.

Working on that right now. It'll take hower long 3dmark06 takes to run (10 min.?) I can't wait to see that score too.

What cooling are you using on your gts? Also, how high can you get the mem w/ out volt modding?

I'm WaterCooling the Gt's. And I'm not sure how high I can get without the vmod. I basically ran them stock before the vmod. I'm guessing around 800ish (1600mhz) would probably be the max without the vmod.

It took me forever to get the right amout of pencil lead on the resistor before the voltage was right.

It kept going from ~2.15v all the way to 2.30v, so I had to erase it a little, so now back down to 2.15v, then I shaded it too much or too little. Eventually I got them both at 2.21v (raises slightly under load, but nothing too serious)

And if you do either of the vmod's USE A MULTIMETER. It's the ONLY TRUE REAL WAY to REALLY make sure you got it right. Especally on the vmem mod.

Nice score, but I'm pretty sure your mem can pull that speed on stock volts; if you want these cards to last longer than 3 years you might want to erase a little. You can run higher than stock but I really doubt 2.2 is needed.

I can give you the results of the OC'ed tests but I really have nothing to compare them too. (although I guess I could return the card to stock speeds even with the vmod).

well, i want the SLi results i dont care about voltmod or not..nothing needed to compare to! i just want to know if am goin to be pleased with it..thnks
