I got in contact with my cousin's from that area. They were in school at the time. The floor started shaking and everyone started panicking. Luckily no one was hurt but they were all shaken up. The buildings had cracks, but weren't broken.

However, Amedabad is another story. That place is a disaster. My uncle is part of the Medical team there, and says it's stomach upsetting. Seeing something on TV is totally different from experiencing it first-hand. They're knees shake everytime they sleep cause they are scared another earthquake will occur.

seriously though, this sucks big time.....poor country, yet they were on their way into computer technology, better lifestandards, etc., then this happens
