Dead? Insight shows 200+ of these babies still in stock. On top of that, there's no stinkin' rebate to contend with. Definitely a deal, and depending on the specs of this baby possibly hot.

I don't know. I just missed out on the $15 scanners by UMAX at Staples a week or so ago. No rebate there either.

Two of my friends and I have ordered scanners from Insight.com and received them. We only have two complaints about our orders with Insight.com:

1) Shipping was like $7.49 for a $14.99 scanner too expensive for UPS ground if you ask me, I think $4.95 would be more reasonable.
2) More importantly I have been waiting for over 6 weeks for my rebate.

Fortunately this scanner does NOT have a rebate but I have never heard of this scanner brand. So I'd be more concerned about the scanner itself rather than the vendor.

yep 300x600. but a deal nonetheless. I have been looking for a cheapo scanner so that i can scan my useless crap onto egay. ~$23 shipped is good enough for me definately not for those wanting to do high-resolution graphic manip. but a cheapo scanner all the way.

$39.08 for two scanners shipped! I was looking for a cheap one for my computer and my parents were looking for one too! Can't beat this deal for a low priced scanner and NO mail in rebate.
