I wouldn't worry about it- that card performs very well at stock speed with 12 pipes, you got a good deal.

Guh? Stock for an X800Pro is 475/450. 545/550 is -- wait, let me check -- yep, higher. It's also higher than the RAM's specced 2.0ns speeds.

Less crack for you.

How big of a performance boost are you getting in games with that overclock? I just got an X800Pro (non VIVO) this week myself and haven't attempted to overclock it yet. Still trying to get the most out of EQII...I think I'm going to have to overclock it and see if I can flip on a few more options...
 
I got my x800 pro BBA in july and it overclocks to 585/575 stock but artifacts, 580/560 has no artifacts. Stock cooling.

I got about 10 more fps in benchies.... i.e., where it was 60 it's now 70. So I am happy about that.

OnEMoReTrY - that's quite an overclock! You got a nice card!

Anyone tried the Arctic Cooling Silencer 4 for these?
 
Anyone with a non VIVO X800 Pro, does your card want you to install WDM drivers for the Rage Theater chip that is not present? My Gigabyte X800 Pro does and it is annoying me. If your card does not, would anyone care to use ATI Tool and do a BIOS dump for me so I can use your BIOS? I have been looking for a Gigabyte BIOS update but none can be found. And I believe that this card is physically just like the BBA so I should be ok to use a BBA BIOS.

I'm sure he'd be happy to unlock the extra 4 pipes if he had a VIVO 🙂. Unfortunantely, he's stuck in the same boat as all us other current X800Pro purchasers....the new cards can't be unlocked, at least yet...

Seems to be some kinda bios/driver lockout even after you connect the laser cut...
