Hold out for the girl that is pretty and smart. They are out there, and beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Don't waste your time on a girl that you don't think is that attractive, but personality is great. Trust me, that's not enough to hold a relationship down...and same holds true for the other way around. You need to be physically attracted to them and love their personality/intelligence for things to work out. Basically, I think being alone is better than "settling."

I agree with you to a point.

However, if you find someone you really like personality wise they will become more attractive to you no matter how they look like!

Also, the same goes the opposite way. A girl you find really hot to begin with. If you find her personality just plain sucks then no matter how physically attractive they are, you will just find them unappealing.

Physical attraction works well for first impression. After that, it's personality and the inner self which calls the shots in the long run.

Just my two cents.

Good Advice.

I married no.1 and we're getting divorced because of our incompatibilities. She is (still) very easy to look at though.

My current gf is beautiful and (very) intelligent. trust me, hot and smart is a good thing.

No. 2 has potential, I think she's pretty cute.

BTW, they are ALL annoying at times, so that's a misnomer.

That is very true...

Religion is a spiritual path people follow for many different reasons...

I honestly believe it's the fanatics which give many religions on the world a bad name to their religion.

It's not the religion which is evil, it's the way some folks intrepet the religion they follow which might make it awkward for others.

I follow the Roman Catholic faith yet I acknowledge my humanity.

Some Roman Catholic folks however deny that they are even human (from my opinion anyways)

Just because we act human does not mean we love GOD any less.

I heard a friend say once that she was trying to convert as many people as possible to the catholic religion, and she even tried to impose her values on me. I told her that now would be a good time to change the subject. She asked me if I was mad at her, I was like, let's change the subject shall we?
 
go for #1 until something better comes along.

#2 can;t cook and she's most likely going to turn into her mother.

I'll take religion anyday over getting bitched at every other day by a pseudo know-it-all.

Actually this thread just makes him seem as if he has no penis. Any man with a penis at least 2 inches long and a set of proper balls would be able to make a decision like this on his own, without the assistance of people on a message forum. That's just my opinion though.
