The Stalin one was a surprise to me. Dude looks like he should be on a Vespa, in some sort of Polo ad.

Count me among those who didn't know that Hawking contracted ALS so relatively late.

For some reason I thought he got sick as a small child.

That one was surprising to me, too.

On the not-an-evil-dictator side, seeing an old pic of Theodore Roosevelt also surprised me (posted this in a separate thread). I guess it's because we're used to seeing these historical leaders as older men, and not as kids or young adults. It's easy to forget that most world leaders live relatively normal middle class and upper class lives before rising to power.

Usually I think Cracked is pretty good...that was underwhelming. Shatter? I think not.

If you had to be nice and peppy like Mr. Rogers all the time, you'd likely have an angry streak too! That makes me respect him that much more really.

You didn't read the article.

Watched the vid, saw the article, still don't care. If that's ALL he did, who gives a shit. Not like he jumped up, flipped the table over and started punching babies. Imagine you have to be all bubbly and smiles all the damn time, sooner or later you will crack. That's nothing.

Saw the Clinton pic for the first time last night during a bio PBS had on him. Was pretty shocked. Never liked the man, but gained some respect for him after watching that last night.

Count me as a person who does not know a single one of them from those images.
